My name is Gemma, and I live with one hand. For years, I struggled with traditional bras that required frustrating hooks or manoeuvring complicated straps. Dressing independently shouldn’t feel like a chore or a workout. That’s why Liberare is revolutionising adaptive fashion, starting with adaptive bras.
Liberare was born from a simple yet profound idea:
Everyone deserves to feel comfortable, confident, and independent in their clothing. Our easy-on adaptive bras are designed specifically for people who face challenges with traditional bras, whether due to arthritis, disabilities, chronic pain, or limited hand dexterity. We’re here to help you dress without stress.
At Liberare, we are a all-female team which brings their lived experiences into our designs. We understand our customer and what an adaptive bra means to those who need it.
There are three main things we focus on:
1. It has to be easy for everyone
2. Functionality—what other design elements can be used to make this easy
3. Fashionable—we all want to look good and feel good in our adaptive bra.
We believe you shouldn’t have to choose between practicality and style. We've designed our adaptive bras to be as beautiful as they are functional, because everyone deserves to feel confident in what they wear.
HeroHold Technology:
We've said bye to hooks, its a big NO in our team. Our HeroHold Technology replaces traditional closures with secure magnetic fasteners that effortlessly snap into place. The magnets help glide the two sides of the bra together and the interlocking fasteners lock in place - its that easy. (Don;t worry its easy off too)
⭐ Front Closure:
There will be no more twisting and turning to fasten a back-closure. Our bras feature a front closure design (because it makes so much more sense to fasten a bra at the front rather than the back)

Adaptive doesn’t mean boring. We care about confident and independency and we believe our bras give these.
⭐ Comfort:
Chronic pain or sensitive skin? Our bras are crafted from soft, breathable fabrics that feel gentle against your skin, they offer support and comfort.
As a all female start up team we are incredibly proud of the recognition Liberare has received. While our adaptive bras are changing the industry for those with disabilities or chronic conditions, we also believe that they are for everyone.
