My Honest Review: 6 Products That Saved My Life With Shoulder Pain
Hey there! My name is Ruth and I'm writing in from beautiful Connecticut! As a 60-year-old woman, I’ve faced my fair share of aging changes over the years, but nothing hit me quite like the shoulder pain that began a few years ago. What started as a mild annoyance-an ache here, a tender spot there-quickly turned into a battle to go about my daily life.
After a few trips to the doctor and physical therapist, I decided I wasn't quite ready for shoulder surgery, but I needed to do something to take my life back. I tried out a bunch of products, and am thrilled to share with you the six that truly made a difference.
1. This Easy-On Bra (that I Actually WANT to Wear)
Let’s kick things off with the first thing most of us put on everyday-a bra! I found this through an article on Good Housekeeping which is my source for all product guides.
This Easy On bra was a total game-changer for me! Not only did it have the easiest magnetic front closure that practically closed itself, the wide straps alleviated so much pressure on my shoulders. It’s soft, breathable, and gives just the right balance of comfort and support. If you’re dealing with shoulder pain, trust me, this is my number 1 because it's worth it!
(I'm also eagerly awaiting their seamless bra and signed up for the preorder list!)

Next up, the classic go-to: a shoulder brace. I was a bit skeptical at first, having been burned by a few versions I bought on Amazon but then a friend recommended this one and it was a match! Now, if I'm gardening or just lounging on the couch, I use this brace to keep my shoulder stable. I love that you can adjust this from multiple places and the lightweight design.

I found this fantastic plug-in heat wrap that fit snugly over my shoulder and neck at the same time. It's lovely to use year round, but especially during the winters here in New England when my joints feel especially stiff. Don't underestimate the power of heat therapy!

I’ll admit, I hesitated before investing in a massager, but oh boy, was it worth it! This little gadget delivers targeted relief that feels incredible. I try to end each day with a session to help reduce pain before bed. (If you're a Costco shopper, you can also try this one!)

Speaking of bedtime, I recently added this pillow to my list of must-haves. I can't tell you how many nights of sleep I lost due to shoulder pain before finally switching to this ergonomic pillow. Yes, it was a splurge, but I'll put out the funds for anything that let's me wake up feeling refreshed instead of tight with pain.

6. This Balm
My daughter who is a long-distance runner recently recommended I try this Tiger Balm. I keep one by my bedside and one in my purse for whenever I feel discomfort creeping in. It’s a quick releif for those smaller pains and keeps me moving throughout the day.
I Hope This List Helps You
If you’re battling shoulder pain, I encourage you to give these products a try. They’ve made a huge difference in my life, letting me enjoy everyday tasks like putting on a bra and getting rest to the activities I love again like gardening. Remember, everyone’s journey is different, so it might take some experimenting to find what works best for you. Don’t lose hope—relief is possible!
