2 busts, over bust and underbust

Step by Step Measurement

A. Find your band size (ribcage)
Wrap a measuring tape snugly below your bust where your bust meets the top of your ribs. Ensure the tape is level to the floor, straight, and free from any twisting. Give an exhale before checking out your measurement.

B. Find your bust size (fullest part of the breast)
Wrap the measuring tape to sit gently around the fullest part of your bust. This is typically across the back where the top of your bra would sit, and across the breasts. Ensure the tape is level to the floor, straight, and free from twisting.

Every Single Bra Company Has Different Sizes

It's so frustrating. But every single lingerie brand does sizes differently. That's why you could be a size 36D for one brand and 34C for another. It's so important to measure. We've tried to make sizing easy.

How Should a Bra Fit?

We understand how confusing it can be! Sizes vary from brand to brand and from one country to another so we’ve developed a handy guide to make finding your size match a little easier.

A cup size, expressed by a letter, represents the difference between your underbust measurement (the measurement just below the breasts at the top of the ribcage) and the fullest part of your bust. Simply put, a cup size deals with volume, and the greater the size, the greater the difference between those two measurements.

Your cup is too big! Cups should lay flush/flat to your body all along the curve.

How to fix→ Keep your same band size but go down a size in the cup size.

Ex: The cups on your 36C are gaping, so try a 36B.

Your cups are too small!

How to fix→ Keep your same band size but go up a size in the cup

Ex: You’re spilling out of your 36C, so try a 36D.

If your band doesn’t feel supportive, it might be too loose. Signs of a loose band are the band riding up your back.

How to fix→ Stay in the same cup size, but try the next band size down.

Ex: Your 32A cups sit nicely but the band is loose. Try swapping out for a 30B.

If your band feels like it’s constricting, it might be too tight. Signs of a too-small band are if the band leaves marks in your skin after being worn.

How to fix→ Stay in the same cup size, but try the next band size down.

Ex. Your 34D cups fit perfectly, but the band feels like a corset. Try swapping out for a 36C.

If you’re spilling out of your cups AND you band is constricting, your bra is too small.

How to fix→ Go up 1 bra size.

Ex: Your 38B is too small, try a 40B.

If your cups gape AND your band is riding up your back or not feeling supportive, that means your bra is too large.

How to fix→ Go down 1 bra size.

Ex: Your 36D was too big, try a 34D.
