    MAGNET FAQ & SAFETY

Can I wear this bra if I have a pacemaker/wearable medical device? Liberare’s magnetic front-closing bras contain magnets which may interfere with the proper function of these devices. We do not recommend their wear for folks with pacemakers. For all medical devices, please consult your physician before wearing.

Does exposure to magnets or magnetic fields cause people harm?

The World Health Organization has stated that exposure to static magnets has not been proven to have harmful (or positive) effects on people. You’re totally safe in our bras!

Can I wear this bra through TSA?

Yes! Our team has personally tried this and did not have issues with TSA scanners. If you are able to go through TSA with a regular underwire bra, you will be able to wear this bra as well.

I have a metal allergy, will these bras work for me?

Yes! Our magnetic closures are encased inside a plastic coating and then sealed inside soft microfiber, meaning they never come into direct contact with your skin. Many of our hook and eye closures are also plastic-coated metal, but please feel free to message us directly at hello@liberare.coif you need any additional product information.

    What about swallowing magnets?

Our magnetic closures are encased inside a plastic coating so the individual magnets are nearly impossible to remove. If however you discover any tears, rips, or loose stitching around the magnets please discontinue use of the product.

Have these magnets been tested for safety?

The closures are composed of neodymium magnets (top quality for strength) which have been third-party tested and approved by OEKO-TEX class II. They are REACH, Oeko-Tex Class II and RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) complaint and therefore lead free.

    How it Works

Dress with Ease: The Secret Behind the Plunge Bralette

    Frequently Asked Questions

This style goes up to a C cup. For D cups and above, check out our Everyday Easy-On Bra.

We recommend this product for those with chronic illness or difficulties reaching behind their back or overhead. Some with severe to no hand dexterity or strength may find this magnet’s size challenging. We recommend the Liberare Bra or the Everyday Easy-On for customers with very limited hand dexterity.

To Dress: Slip the bra around your body like you would a vest. Using the grip loops or grabbing the two cups, gently pull the halves together towards your center front. The magnetic closure should clip itself when brought closer. Ensure that the pieces connect to lay flush against each other.

To Undress: We recommend holding the bra at the center and giving a gentle twist to break the magnetic seal (rather than pulling them apart).

We always suggest consulting your doctor first. A new non-magnetic bra is coming August 2023. Join our email list for updates.

      Hands used to hurt

I tried this bra since I can not do the back hooks any longer. I have awful arthritis in my hands at my age (78) and normal bras were too hard to use. I was looking for front closure bras. I found this site. I do not like the cross back straps either, so this was even better. I tried this on, and I was sold. The only problem is that the bra stretches after wearing it a couple of times, and after washing. I wish I had a solution for that. I will have to take in the first bra I bought. But I just put on the second bra brand new and it fits just right. (small). I don't know if I will need to use a XS just because of the stretch. But I am so tired of pulling bras over my head. I have been wearing sports bras but they just make me look flat. Getting this bra has given me some projection finally. I like the style very much. I want to try other looks, but they are sold out. I hope you refill your stock.

      LOVE this bra!

LOVE this bra! Not a lot of support and the magnet is a little harder than the Liberare Bra (which is my FAVORITE! So easy to put on for me with my RA) so if you have limited dexterity and want more support go with the Liberare Bra. Love this too for days my hands are in better shape!)

I can't believe that looking at it it's adaptive!

I bought this bra last week and I’ve practically worn it every day. I have CP which means pinching can be difficult and undoing hook and eye bras takes me ages to do in the morning. I love it so much, I can't believe that looking at it it's adaptive, it has been designed and the lace is beautiful.

      I can't believe I haven’t found Liberare sooner

How sexy is this bra! I can't believe I haven’t found Liberare sooner, I’ve got tonnes of frumpy adaptive bras that I have to wear for my disability but none of them looks like this! I stumbled across this brand on Instagram, and I am literally obsessed. This finally means I can wear adaptive underwear and feel sexy. Plus it means I can wear lower-cut tops in this plunge bra and feel supported.
